A "little piece" of Thailand in the middle of Husum, the grey city by the sea. Get to know Thai cuisine and its eating habits.
In restaurants, people do not eat with chopsticks, but with a spoon and fork, never with a knife.
Chinese chopsticks are only used for noodle dishes and noodle soups.
In Thailand, all dishes (except desserts) on a menu are served at the same time so that guests can choose from a variety.
The dishes are generally not kept warm.
A sequence of different dishes is always served.
The absolute minimum for Thais is a soup and two main courses or a main course and a starter.
When it comes to putting things together, diversity plays a particularly important role.
A mild dish is paired with a spicy one, a liquid dish (e.g. soup) with something crunchy. A fish dish, for example, is paired with a meat dish.
Please note our original Thai menus, in which we have put together a particular emphasis on quality, contrasts, originality and variety.
Dear guests, a few words about rice.
We only use high-quality Thai long-grain fragrant rice, but in the past we had to throw away a lot of unused rice.
In Thailand, rice is considered both a staple food and an elixir of life.
Throwing away the “best rice in the world” as the Thais do is unimaginable, and not only for Thais.
We have therefore reduced our rice portion to normal amounts.
Nevertheless, we believe that our portions of rice are still more than ample. Please understand that we
Additional portions of rice will be charged at €2.50.
We hope to welcome you soon.
